The Atherton Garden Guild is a nonprofit organization founded in 1966 and affiliated with California Garden Clubs, Inc. The Guild is actively involved in community-focused projects, including maintaining the rose garden at Holbrook Palmer Park and installing native plant identification labels at the Atherton Town Center. It also offers floral design demostrations at the Atherton Library and provides floral arrangements for the Library throughout the year. Public events include the biennial “Bouquets to Books,” held at the Atherton Library as well as biennial Garden Tours. Through these activities and projects, the Atherton Garden Guild plays an important role in promoting environmental awareness, horticultural education, and the beautification of local spaces. AGG's community work promotes the understanding and appreciation of these interests throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Holbrook-Palmer Rose Garden
Since 1971, the Atherton Garden Guild has maintained a dedicated Rose Garden at Atherton's Holbrook-Palmer Park, showcasing a variety of roses to the delight of park visitors.
